About Us
The Belle Arte String Quartet was formed in 1984 by members of the Richmond Symphony to answer a growing need for quality and dependability in the Richmond, Virginia area.
Belle Arte is a group with exceedingly high standards! Every member that plays with us is either currently or has in the past made their living exclusively from playing his or her instrument, so you can be assured of excellence.
We have played hundreds of weddings and receptions, each with music personally selected by or tailored to suit the Bride and Groom. Music sets the tone of your day and expresses the emotion and beauty of its creation. If we agree to play for your special event, you will have peace of mind knowing that the music will be taken care of for you without further worry, will reflect your taste, will please your guests, and be of the highest professional quality.
Our extensive repertoire includes classical wedding favorites as well as a wide selection of popular music. If you have a particular piece in mind that is not already in our repertoire, we can most likely obtain or arrange it for your event. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or to discuss your musical selections.
